One of my goals as a floral designer is to help inspire brides as they plan their weddings. In an effort to find new ways to do just that, I embarked on a year-long photo project. Images were taken this summer of various color palette ideas, using only the flowers found growing in my garden. Clients ask me all the time, what flowers come in my wedding colors? Now they have a visual reference. Here is a look at a few of these choices.
Color Palette: Citrus & Cream
For those brides looking for a bright, fresh take on the yellow and grey color combination.
Color Palette: Coral, Burgundy & Cream
Coral remains a popular choice for weddings. By adding in burgundy tones, you get more depth and intrigue.
Color Palette: Peach & Lavender
One of my favorite color combination, perfect for the bride wanting something romantic and soft.
Future blog posts will take a closer look at these palettes, showing you more examples. My goal is to take similar images each season, to show how the flower choices change.
