Joys of Mini Christmas Tree

In a previous entry, I shared images of the tree we decorated for the Festival of Trees for Skagit Valley Hospital.  For the same event, we also decorated a small table-top tree in the same star theme. While looking through some images recently, I found this one of the small tree and my cat Sedona.



I was testing out the lights and finished look of the tree using the only available outlet, so the tree was on the floor.  Sedona, my ever curious cat, came over and started admiring it.  Thought this picture was so adorable that I wanted to share it. Also really loved the container we placed the tree in, a metallic pot with tons of texture.



One more image of the small tree, with the tree topper.  I made a large wire and beaded star, which is a bit hard to see in this picture.  Then we curled the wire and attached our small metallic origami stars to the ends.  Attached to the tree just below the star, they look like little shooting stars.
